The RUGGERO was designed by the Slade family in 2005 as a tribute to their grandfather, Henry Rogers. Henry, known to his friends as "Rodg" made espresso machines his life and livelihood. He had a long history in the coffee industry as he was one of the first espresso service technicians in Melbourne. Henry introduced his son-in-law, John Slade, into the industry and shared his wealth of knowledge on espresso machines. John, in turn, shared his passion with his two sons, Dean and Paul, who today are the proud owners of Disavè Espresso Equipment Suppliers. The RUGGERO was born from the nickname 'Rodg' that is of Italian origin and comes from the name Roger.

RUGGERO is a truly unique espresso machine.

It is the first machine of its kind to offer a customised, coloured body and a light display panel that can be used for advertising.
